Healing Hands, a publication of the HCH Clinicians’ Network, melds scientific knowledge with the experience of clinicians working in Health Care for the Homeless and reflects issues of concern to direct service providers and program administrators who serve people experiencing homelessness. This page lists all of the issues by topics—medical treatment, behavioral health care, special populations, service delivery/program evaluation, peer support and advocacy. In addition, you may wish to refer to the chronological Healing Hands archive.
Healing Hands readers have the opportunity to earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit for reading a recent issue and successfully completing the post-test. Nurses, social workers and other health professionals typically are able to apply CME credits toward their professional requirements as well; please check with your credentialing body to verify. There is no charge to receive credit.
