Membership

Slide1

Membership in the National Health Care for the Homeless Council is your opportunity to bring your local perspectives and challenges to the national forum on health care and housing for people experiencing homelessness. Organizational members appoint a representative to serve on the Governing Membership, the body of leaders that orchestrates the Council’s priorities and works together to meet the challenges in our communities. This group gathers in person twice annually and participation is the most valuable benefit of membership. Other membership benefits include group purchasing discounts, free or low-cost training and Technical Assistance, product donations, and free journal access. Read more about organizational membership benefits and opportunities, and contact us with any questions.

As a new organizational member, you will receive a discounted introductory rate of $500 for first year’s membership. Subsequent years are calculated on a sliding scale based on HRSA or other funding. You may make your payment online or request an invoice. Payment received after April 1 of any year applies to the fiscal year beginning July 1.

Are you a member already? Renew your membership for Fiscal Year 2016.

Individual Membership is your way to access any of the National HCH Council’s communications, to get involved in our advocacy and research, to serve on Council Committees, and to contribute to setting the strategic direction of the Council. As an Individual Member, you are eligible to nominate and be nominated for the Board of Directors, and a number of awards.
Three groups are open to individual members, each of which includes its own distinct member benefits. When you join, you will be invited (not required) to join one or more of the Council’s individual membership groups:

Unlike most membership organizations, the National HCH Council offers individual membership for free. We do this to include all professionals, students, and consumers regardless of their ability to pay dues. To join, please complete the brief Individual Membership form.
Individual membership is free, but it is still valuable. If you are able, please consider making a donation in support of your membership. The suggested annual contribution is $50.
