Meet Our Keynote Speaker: Catherine E. Lhamon, Chair of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights

Renowned attorney and official Catherine E. Lhamon, U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Chair, will give the opening keynote address at #HCH2019. Honored as one of Politico’s 50 Thinkers Transforming Politics in 2016, Lhamon is a powerful voice for justice and equity. Learn more.


Meet Our Closing Keynote Speaker: Leilani Farha, UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing

Leilani Farha, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing, will give the closing address of #HCH2019. Recipient of the Barbra Schlifer Award, Farha has worked to advance the rights of poor and marginalized groups throughout her career. Learn more.

John N. Lozier Scholarship for New Members

If #HCH2019 will be your first HCH Conference, consider applying for our Lozier Scholarship! Honoring our founding Executive Director, this scholarship provides up to $1,000 to support one person’s attendance to #HCH2019! Apply by Feb. 28.
