Share Your Story

example-pic-bobbyWashington is debating the future of the health care system and changes are being proposed that will impact people experiencing homelessness and the providers that serve them. We are working to prevent changes that harm vulnerable people and to advance policies that end homelessness through the provision of health care and housing for all. Photos and stories are a powerful tool, and we plan to use them in our social media communications and advocacy work. Whether you are a service provider or a consumer, telling your personal story is an important way we can influence policymakers.

We have a tool that offers practical advice for individuals seeking to relate their experience of homelessness, please check out our Story Telling Guide, created by the National HCH Council’s National Consumer Advisory Board.

If you have a story to share about how a policy issues has made an impact on yourself, your clinic, or your client, please share it with us using the methods outlined below.
